There was panic at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Ikeja, Lagos State capital on Wednesday when Mr. Kolade Alabi, the Chairman of Bariga Local Government Area, suddenly slumped while giving a speech.
Alabi, the state chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), was addressing party stakeholders at their meeting when he abruptly lost consciousness and fell.
He was quickly revived before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, party members, however, expressed relief at his prompt recovery and wished him a speedy return to good health.
